22nd Dresden Symposium Hematology and Oncology
● Radebeul (Radisson Blu Park Hotel & Conference Centre)
Welcome
Dear colleagues,
We are very pleased to welcome you to the 22nd Dresden Symposium on Hematology and Oncology this year from September 1 to 3. As usual, the event will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Radebeul.
We promise you an exciting and informative event again this year! Experts from all over Germany will come together to inform you about the latest findings and treatment options in hematology and oncology.
On Friday evening, we will have the pleasure of listening to the impressive author Friedemann Karig, whose novels are characterized by precise language and a profound examination of social and cultural issues in the German literary landscape. In a one-hour lecture, he will tell us in a captivating way about the power of myths, lies and utopias in narratives and their influence on our lives.
Sunday morning is themed: The Other Focus: Gender and Diversity in Oncology. We will address gender differences in the prevalence, diagnosis, treatment, and experience of cancer, and the importance of diversity in cancer research and treatment to ensure patient-centered, individualized care.
In addition to numerous presentations, case seminars and discussions will round out the program again this year. You are cordially invited to attend and share your experiences with colleagues. Use the time to gain new insights and perspectives for your own work.
The symposium is under the auspices of the German Society of Hematology and Internal Oncology (DGHO) and was jointly conceived by the BNHO Landesverband Sachsen and the Medical Clinic and Polyclinic I of the University Hospital Dresden.
We are looking forward to three insightful and exciting days and the exchange with you.
With kind regards
