Processing technology and packaging solutions for the future

It was an event that clearly demonstrated how university teaching and research go hand in hand with applied research: the anniversary symposium ‘100 Years of Innovation in Processing Technology and Packaging’ was dedicated to looking back on scientific excellence, innovative strength and systematic collaboration.

The Chair of Processing Machinery/Processing Technology at TU Dresden (celebrating its 70th anniversary) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV (celebrating its 30th anniversary) looked back on milestones in their joint work and highlighted significant projects for sustainable packaging and intelligent processing and cleaning systems. GWT congratulates its Innovation Centre Director, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens-Peter Majschak, and his team on the special honour of being part of this impressive success story.

High-profile guests and supporters from the worlds of science and politics celebrated this special anniversary together. GWT was delighted to support the event as a sponsor.
