Robotics meets AI: Practical solutions for industry and the skilled trades

The W(4) event series stops off at the Deutsche Telekom Chair of Communication Networks

What happens when robotics, AI and state-of-the-art communication systems come together to enable new solutions? Visitors to the W4 event on 24 March at TU Dresden were able to find out exactly that.

The Technology Tour featured presentations on Evasive Robotics, Soron Systems with ground-based robots for challenging environments, Campus Genius and Mimetik, amongst others. The demonstrators impressively showcased how practical modern robotics and AI solutions already are today.

A big thank you goes to Professor Fitzek and his team, whose insights and live demonstrations played a key role in bringing these technological developments to life. Discussions with experts highlighted just how important connected technologies are for the future viability of many industries and the potential that lies in interdisciplinary collaboration.
