International Onboarding Program (IOP)
On October 16, Mr. Bibhu Mishra, Head of the Saxon Science Liaison Office (SSLO) in Chennai, visited the World Trade Center.
The meeting provided an opportunity to get to know the IOP team, exchange ideas with Indian working students, and engage in intensive networking. At the same time, the focus was on GWT's role as coordinator of the IOP—and the assumption of responsibility for the SSLO office in Chennai as a sign of close international cooperation.
The IOP supports young international talents in gaining a foothold in Dresden and Saxony. It prepares them for their studies, everyday life, and careers, accompanies them upon their arrival, and creates long-term prospects through mentoring, community building, and early connections to companies.
This is a win-win situation for students, for Dresden, and for the Saxon economy.
