GWT is celebrating its 30th anniversary
30 years of knowledge and technology transfer with GWT – Adding value to Society
“For 30 years, GWT has stood for social engagement through successful technology and knowledge transfer.” emphasised Professor Jacques Rohayem – Managing Director of GWT, Spokesperson for the Executive Board and Board Member for Technology Transfer at TUDAG TU Dresden Aktiengesellschaft – in his welcoming address.
As part of the anniversary celebrations on 25 June 2026, the panel discussion ‘From Science to Industry: Added Value for Society’ took centre stage. The discussion highlighted just how crucial the transfer of scientific findings into industrial and medical applications is – and the contribution it makes to innovation and social progress.
The evening’s event provided an opportunity to reflect on three decades of successful collaboration between university research and industry, whilst also setting the tone for the years to come.
The GWT would like to thank all Speakers and participants for their valuable contributions and the constructive atmosphere that characterised the evening. Together, we will continue to shape the path along which knowledge makes an impact in the future.
