Data protection and data security

The Innovation Center for Data Protection and Data Security is dedicated to the development and analysis of security concepts against communicative vulnerabilities of new digital systems and technologies that are part of autonomous driving, cloud computing or Industry 4.0 applications, for example. The development of technologies that promote data protection is also being driven forward in order to protect the privacy of users. The integration of security and data protection in distributed system architectures and communication protocols is the focus of research interest.
