Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
we are pleased to announce the INPP conference in Leipzig, Germany, Psychopathology: Interface of Basic Sciences and Scholarly Disciplines, from May 29. - 31, 2025, a multidisciplinary conference that seeks to explore the intersections of Psychiatry and Philosophy. This event will bring together scholars, researchers, and practitioners to engage in deep discussions on the philosophical foundations of psychiatry, ethics in mental health care, and the complex relationship between mind, behavior, and society.

- Philosophical Foundations of Psychiatric Diagnosis: The ontological status of psychiatric disorders and the validity of diagnostic categories.
- Neurophilosophy: The implications of advances in neuroscience for understanding consciousness, mental illness, and therapeutic interventions.
- Philosophy of Science in Psychiatry: Theoretical frameworks underlying psychiatric research, including discussions on reductionism, holism, and the role of evidence in psychiatry.
- Mental Illness and Society: Philosophical and ethical considerations in the social understanding and stigmatization of mental illness.
- Free Will, Agency, and Mental Health: Exploring the boundaries of personal responsibility and free will in mental illness.
