50,000 euros for cancer patients

The ninth "Rowing against Cancer" charity regatta held in Dresden also met the expectations placed in it: A total of 93 teams with 372 rowers started at the sports event initiated by the Living with Cancer Foundation on September 14, 2019. Thanks to the entry fees paid by the participants as well as sponsorships and donations, the proceeds of the regatta totaled 50,000 euros - the highest amount with which the Leben mit Krebs Foundation can support therapy-accompanying programs for people with cancer in the Dresden area The amount goes to four institutions that use it to finance offers for the time during and after cancer therapy.
