Welding technology

The Welding Technology Innovation Center deals with technology consulting for joining and welding technology. Joining technology is a key technology in production engineering and is equally relevant for industry and trade. In order to solve problems, a holistic view of the joining process, the suitability of the material for joining and the welding design is taken. Problems in the areas of materials (calculations and simulations), welding technology (e.g. arc / laser welding) as well as mechanical joining technology and mechanical testing are dealt with. For this purpose, the extensive available know-how from many years of research activity is used. Thus, it is possible to develop the appropriate solutions for partners and customers.
