Solid Construction

The Innovation Center for Solid Construction deals with the mechanical properties of reinforced concrete in all its facets.
The focus is on research activities in the field of different types of reinforcement, concretes from light to high-strength, theoretical and experimental investigations of stresses in the range of static permanent load to highly dynamic as well as new and existing buildings in experiment and theory at the material level up to the complete structure. The topic of "textile/carbon concrete" is a central component of current research.
