Information event on the topic of malnutrition in oncology
Malnutrition in tumor patients has a considerable impact on the course of the disease and therapy tolerance. Therefore, a nutritional therapy adapted to the individual situation is of great importance. The Nutrition Circle offers the opportunity to exchange current findings and engage in exciting discussions.
The program includes presentations by renowned speakers, such as Dr. med. Tina Thomas and PD Dr. med. Ulrich Schuler from Dresden University Hospital and Katja Jäckel from pro:med Service GmbH. Topics such as the data situation and practice of malnutrition in oncology, advice on neutrophic nutrition and cancer diets, and the influence of the microbiome will be covered.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with registration and a welcome coffee. After the informative presentations, there will be an opportunity for discussion of oncology case studies. This will be followed by a buffet and get-together.
