Oncological care of the future in rural and urban areas: situation, challenge and potential solutions

Program

Modern oncology is associated with increasingly complex treatment paths, increasing cooperation and specialization of different disciplines. Only through the interaction of all experts can the possibilities of patient-specific treatment and therapy support be optimally exploited. The services required for this are often provided in specialized centers in hospitals or outpatient specialist practices.

It is not only structurally weak regions that face particular challenges here; examples include digitalization and the recruitment of medical and non-medical specialists. How does oncology care differ in urban and rural areas and how can the specific problems be solved?

We would like to discuss these and other topics with you. The event will end with a joint snack.
